Green Roof
A green roof enhances building sustainability while offering numerous benefits to urban environments. It improves aesthetics, reduces cooling energy consumption, extends the lifespan of waterproofing membranes, and creates a serene space for relaxation. However, a successful green roof requires a durable waterproofing system to ensure long-term performance.
Our green roof solution utilizes the high-performance HYPERDESMO®-PB system. This system creates a resilient barrier designed to withstand the unique environment of a rooftop garden, protecting the slab from constant moisture and soil-based chemicals.
System Product List
A reliable green roof installation requires a multi-layered approach to ensure lasting protection:
- Primer: MICROSEALER-50.
- Joint Sealant: HYPERSEAL-EXPERT-150 for structural joints and transitions.
- Main Membrane: HYPERDESMO®-PB-2K.
- Plant Preparation: Drainage membranes and/or geotextile fabrics (recommended before adding soil and planting).
Product Overview
1. High-Adhesion Primer
- MICROSEALER-50: A versatile primer that functions as a rust inhibitor, providing a strong, reliable foundation for the waterproofing membrane.
2. Bitumen-Extended Main Membrane
- HYPERDESMO®-PB-2K: A fast-curing, two-component polyurethane membrane extended with chemically polymerized virgin bitumen. It creates a highly elastic layer with excellent adhesion and superior resistance to mechanical and chemical stresses.
3. Drainage & Filtration
- Geotextile Membranes: These porous fabrics facilitate essential drainage, preventing harmful water buildup beneath the green roof soil.
